Star/Flower tote bag....

I have been working on this tote for a while. One thing as many sewers will now, the practice is more about preparation and planning rather than actually sewing things! Cutting and pinning was spread out over a couple of weeks. But here it is ! The pattern is featured in the book Sew What! Bags by Lexie Barnes. A lot of her stuff is of course adorable.

This particular bag was more of a practice run. I used scrap material because the stars and flowers don't really go together. Barnes mentions in her book that its the basis for making customizable totes and what not. I plan on playing around with this same pattern more. Also I like how it is reversible !
