Wrist Warmers ......

Hello world. Here is my latest project. I tried using a pattern online but it wasn't working so I did my own thing.

Materials :

• Size 10 straight needles
• Two skeins of yarn (your choice of color)
• Yarn needle
• Scissors
• Ruler

Instructions :

Step 1: Cast on 24 stitches

Step 2: Knit a rib stitch (knit 1, purl 1) till it measures about two inches

Step 3: Change colors. Knit a stockinette stitch (knit 1 row, purl 1 row) till it measures 4 1/2 inches

Step 4: Change colors back to the original. Knit in the rib stitch but first the first row begin with a knit stitch, the begin with a purl stitch on the next row. (this gives it a cool checkerboard looking pattern. Continue till it measures 1 inch.

Step 5: Bind off, then fold it in half then sew it up and your looking fabulous!
