This past week I discovered that I was nominated for a Liebster Award. I want to thank 1 Crazy Daisy and 3 Pokey Joes for the honor. I know what most of you are thinking, what is said award? Well its not exactly an award. Its an opportunity for bloggers to get some attention. It is intended for small blogs with under 200 followers. I'm excited to be a part of this and to share some love with some of my blogging buddies.

11 Facts about Sarina

• I am a neat freak and everything has to be organized. After Tim takes something out I swoop in and put it away. 
• I am currently love/hate reading Sword of Storms. Its soo good but its so freaking long! I've been reading it for the past month and I'm at 20%
• I spend most of my free time in my craft room, I call it the craft dungeon
• Trying to convince my brother to do a semester abroad just so I can come visit him in some far off land
• In Junior High someone kept calling me mean names. I punched him in a tender male area and got suspended. My Dad said he was proud I stood up for myself and didn't punish me.
• Socially awkward sometimes. I suck at making new friends and I try to avoid talking to new people sometimes but unbeknownst to me I come off as a total jerk. (sorry if you have ever fallen victim to this behavior by me) 
• I have names picked out for potential future pets: Appa (for a big shaggy dog) and Sufjan Stevens (for a little tiny dog) 
• I have lots of different types of task managers, but I always find a way to avoid them and be lazy (A problem I am trying to fix) 
• Tim does the majority of the cooking, its awesome! Ladies try to bag a husband that cooks! 
• In recent years I've lost my love of video games. When games calculate your playing time and when it hits 24 hours I can help but think, what did I actual accomplish? 
• When it comes to having kids, the only things that scare me are the being pregnant and labor. I'm fine with the other stuff, bring on the dirty diapers and puke! 

Questions from 1 Crazy Daisy 

1. What is your favorite dessert?

My favorite time of the day is when it's milk and cookies time. You can't go wrong with something so perfect!

2. In what state would you most want to live? Why?

I love where I live, with the exception of the cost of living! For a time Tim and I were planning on relocating to New England, because its nice and coastal. Then we got jobs and it turns out we are pretty content on Long Island.

3. What 3 things would you want if you were stranded on a deserted island?

Ok I'm kind of cheating but whatever....

• Solar charged iphone (to communicate for help!) 
• A Game of Thrones book (they are super long and will keep my busy until help comes) 
• Water (gotta keep hydrated) 

4. What is your dream job?

I do enjoy my library job, however I'd love to be able to work from home and run my etsy shop and blog full time. How cool is that to just make stuff all day ?

5. What is your favorite animal to see at the zoo?

I really love watching the Gorillas! The Bronx zoo has an amazing exhibit and I need to check it out on every visit! In college I needed to take a science class and settled on primate conservation and I learned a lot and developed an appreciation for our primate relatives. What I really love about the Bronx zoo exhibit is that the gorillas are aware that you are looking at them and they will even look at you, tap the glass and make faces at you. Its pretty amazing.

6. Dog or cat? Why?

DOGS 4 life! Don't get me wrong, cats are totally adorbs but I am allergic. I love my K-9 counterpart, Gyppers. I love how when I come home she acts like its the most amazing thing ever. "Omg where'd you go! Don't leave again, I miss you, I love you!" I've never gotten that reaction from a feline.

7. Would you rather live underwater or in space?

Space with one condition! It has to be future space like Futurama or Firefly. With plenty of different worlds and cultures to discover!

8. Name 1 regret you have.

I don't really like to regret and dwell on the past too much. However I wish I'd better appreciated all the free time I had when I was in college. I spent a lot of time watching movies and laying around. I wish I could have been more productive.

9. What color best describes you?

My favorite color is green and all its different shades and hues. I think it best describes me because I can be fun and quirky like a nice lime green, but I can also be mature like a nice, earth tone dark green.

10. Night owl or early bird?

I'm more of an early bird. I like to get my workout out of the way first thing then move on to my morning coffee. My friends are all night owls and when we hang out I'm ready to pass out by 11:00 pm.

11. Which do you always choose first, rock, paper, or scissors?

Not sure why but I always go for scissors.
